12x12: A Fundraiser for the Harwood

Each year Harwood asks artists to support the work we do in the community. We can’t tell you who (yet) and we can’t tell you what, but we can tell you how and why. We expect as many as 150 artists to donate their incredible works of art. Last year so many people stepped up to help that this year we’ve had to go invitation only. Each submission is anonymous until purchased, so you buy from your heart. Come choose an amazing piece of art at a ridiculous price: just $144. Find a bargain, discover a talent previously unknown to you, eat, laugh and be merry. Come with an open mind, and an open wallet!

Be sure to purchase a Harwood Membership ahead of time, as we will be hosting a special members-only preview before the opening. If you’ve attended 12x12 in the past, you will understand the value and appeal of this preview. Read more...

North & South: Zamora Family

OFRENDAS/OFFERINGS: Art Show and Crafts Sale

The Zamora family members are well known for their Aztec dancing. They are also accomplished visual artists. Join this talented family and enjoy painting, sculpture, jewelry and ceramic fine art and craft produced by PAZ, Rita, David, Rosa, Luna, Crystal and Kathleen.

In addition to Friday’s Opening Reception, on Saturday, December 5, 2009, the Zamoras will hold their 8th annual Arts and Crafts Sale in the upstairs hallway (between the North and South Galleries) from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm. Refreshments will be served.
