Emerging Artist Fund

Return to: Youth and Teen Art » Emerging Artist Fund

The Harwood Art Center maintains and administers the Harwood Emerging Artist Fund in support of up and coming talent in our community. There are currently three grants made during the course of the year: the Reggie Gammon Memorial Award, the Marion and Kathryn Crissey Award, and the Madonna Daniel Award.

Current Emerging Artist Applications are due March 31, 2010.

Follow the links to the right to download all three.

We are aware that emerging artist is a vague term. Generally, we suggest that artists with gallery representation, or those who receive a significant portion of their income from their art endeavors, are not considered to be emerging. Usually, artists know if they are on the professional end of the spectrum and are "beyond" our awards. If in doubt, please give us a call, or download and read this page of frequently asked questions.
