San Francisco based artists Mati McDonough and Hugh D’Andrade are teaming up to present a show entitled “The Monster Under the Bed”. They’ll be filling the gallery with paintings, drawings and a mural that express their shared delight in all things dreamy and nightmarish. Their aim is to induce involuntary flights of the imagination from any and all gallery visitors.
San Pedro de Burque examines timeless themes such as human existence, our collective history and beauty. The work strives to reinforce notions of humanity through the banal. The images illustrate our ignorance and obliviousness to nature's experiment and our contradictions. San Pedro de Burque uses parody to display the intersection of ideas and people on the global stage.
An annual exhibit showcasing exceptional student work from the West Mesa High School Fine Arts Department.
