Harwood Studio Artists, "Personal Space"

Experience a sampling of the incredible talent unleashed within our walls. The Harwood’s studio artists work with a wide range of styles and media and can regularly be seen exhibiting around New Mexico and beyond. It all comes together in this group show.

 

Upstairs North Gallery:
Jim Fitzpatrick, "Figures"

Simple, evocative, figurative paintings that leave interpretation wide open to the viewer. Black figures on white grounds in acrylic on paper.

 

Upstairs South Gallery:
Dale Latta, "Temporal Shift"

Using anonymity and alienation as themes, Dale Latta exploits the vibrant color and textural potential of oil paint. As a decidedly non-urban person, he enjoys the perspective of an outsider as he depicts the sensory overload of the city streetscape and the stimulation and renewal it provides.

Gallery hours are Monday - Friday, 10 AM to 4PM. Gallery receptions occur on the First Friday of each month (6-8 pm), in coordination with Albuquerque's city-wide Artscrawl.  We also hold evening Gallery Hours on the 3rd Friday of each month (6-8 pm).
