Plein Air Painting the Spring Landscape: Capturing the Effect of Outdoor Light with Color

Jump start your spring & summer outdoor landscape painting this season by getting out and painting the basics that make your paintings a success from the start!  This workshop will have a new twist - using the principals of Impressionism, particularly Monet, who put great emphasis of how to use color to create the effect the outdoor light, through the use of color.  Get grounded in 'seeing' & designing the big important shapes and their color values, along with using color to create luminous, warm & dramatic light.  We will enter a new world of thinking 'color change, not value change.'  We will create two paintings a day, as well as a few small color-note studies each day.  A New Supply List will be provided upon registration.
