About Open Draw

Sessions are hosted with a live model and facilitated by a moderator. These sessions serve as an opportunity for artists in the community to practice the foundational skill that is rendering the human form in a group setting, and sessions are open to artists of every skill level.

Sessions take place in our main building 1114 7th Street NW 87102.
Students can arrive anytime between 6:15p – 6:35p, students who arrive after 6:35p will have to wait for a break in drawing to be allowed entry.

Materials

Artists are required to provide their own materials. If an artist is using materials that will create mess (pastel dust, charcoal dust, etc) the artist must clean up any mess immediately upon finishing the session, and leave the space in the same condition that it was when they arrived. The artists are requested to bring any cleaning products they will require to do this. Harwood has a limited selection of easels to choose from that will be provided on a first come first serve basis.
