YOGA AT HARWOOD

Yoga at Harwood

This drop-in class welcomes beginners and all levels and explores the fundamentals of yoga, correct body alignment & breathing techniques. All poses are offered with modifications to suit individual bodies and needs. A blend of Hatha, Vinyasa, mini meditations and energy medicine modalities will be incorporated. 


Weekly on Wednesdays, 4-5pm

Drop In Session Fee: $10

What to Bring

  • Your own yoga mat and props if needed (blanket, strap, block, etc.)
  • Water bottle
  • Wear comfortable clothes that allow for relaxation and gentle movement
  • $10 cash, check or smartphone  

What to Expect in Class

Each class incorporates mini meditations, breath work, rest and poses with correct body alignment. All poses are offered with modifications to suit individual bodies and needs. A blend of Hatha, Vinyasa, yoga therapeutics and energy healing modalities are incorporated.

About Hallee

Hallee Nguyen (she/her) has been a yoga student for many years and completed her 200hr YTT in 2024 and 300hr YTT, Yin, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, and Chakra Yoga Certifications in 2025 at Yogasaar. Her intention is to honor the history and roots of Yoga through her practice and teaching. She teaches at Yogasaar Studio, the University of New Mexico and Harwood Art Center. All of her classes include an incorporation of energetic healing modalities as a way to reduce stress and anxiety. Her wish is to provide a safe and accessible space for anyone who seeks to practice yoga.

 

 

 

 

 

 

About Marlena

Marlena Livingston is an artist and educator who has been a part of the Harwood community for many years. She completed her yoga teacher training at Sweat Yoga Studio in Albuquerque in 2024, and is very excited to be beginning her journey as a yoga teacher! Marlena works as an elementary school librarian, and spends her free time creating art, doing yoga, hiking, and hanging out with her dogs.
