You are invited to an Exhibition Reception on Saturday, February 5th from 4:30-6:30pm at Harwood Art Center. This event is open to all and will be such an exciting way to kick off exhibitions at Harwood in 2022. Proof of vaccination against Covid-19 and masks are required to attend, masks are available by request.

Public Open Hours

This exhibition is installed in our galleries and accessible to the public on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am-2pm. All visitors must wear a face mask, masks are available by request.

“The pandemic gave us a literal description of how masks can be used to help us but can also further stigmatize individuals experiencing homelessness. Each artist has used this question to explore the rich symbology of mask making and creative expression in the contexts of the modern world and the inner self. This collection invites you into a deeper conversation about persona and how we express our unmasked selves, culture, social inequities, illness and so much more.”
