EVENT RENTALS

We would love to host your gathering or special event at Harwood Art Center, and we have unique spaces perfect for meetings, conferences, receptions, graduation parties, birthdays, life celebrations, weddings or any other events you may propose.

We are open to hosting all events, but we are especially committed to providing memorable and accessible event spaces to local individuals, families, and businesses. Our rental rates are scaled accordingly.

Event and Facilities Rentals

The Harwood Art Center, originally the home of the Harwood Girls School (1925-1976), is housed in a 1925 neo-classical Revival style building just north of downtown Albuquerque on the Mountain Road side of the Sawmill-Wells Park neighborhoods. Harwood occupies most of the building with artist studios, galleries, classrooms and offices. Harwood also owns and operates the old church building at the corner of Mountain Road and Sixth Street as an art studio/classroom and satellite gallery.

Meeting, Event and Performance Spaces

The 6th Street Studio South, located at 1023 Mountain Road, is the home for our summer apprenticeship program and seasonal satellite gallery.

The “Dining Hall,” located in our Main Building, boasts some of the best natural light in town and is a perfect location for community meetings, organizational retreats, presentations, screenings and performances.

The basement-level Theater offers a fabulous venue for private use and rehearsals.

The Horst Co-Op Studio is a perfect space for small meetings, retreats, and short term projects.
