Do you want to draw realistic and expressive faces? Whether you have previous drawing experience or not, this class will teach you fresh ways of seeing and skills for drawing the human face with confidence. New students, as well as those who have previously taken Drawing Faces for Beginners, will appreciate this class. We’ll dive deeper into drawing portraits by exploring the face at different angles and using a variety of lighting. We’ll continue to focus on proportion and keen observation to improve our drawing accuracy and ability to create a likeness. Observing the more subtle structures of the face will help us refine our drawings and explore the unique individuality of our subjects. We will also begin to explore concept by looking at how drawing choices affect the meaning of the finished piece. Drawing is a skill that be can be learned through structured practice. A compassionate and encouraging environment invites you to relax and enjoy the experience of drawing as you expand your skills. In this class you will grow your ability to draw faces with both accuracy and expression in just 8 weeks.
