Join noted artist Michelle Chrisman for a weekend of plein air landscape painting, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of Los Poblanos Historic Inn and lily pond, as well as some special locations in Corrales. Based on the principles of the French Impressionists and how light works in the outdoor world, this workshop will allow participants to tap into their inner poet and express the landscape in loose, painterly strokes of color!
This workshop will emphasize simplification of shapes, correct color values and light / dark patterns. Students will paint several small studies and two medium paintings each day. All skill level and painting mediums are welcome.
