WONDER FAIR!

We invite you to this free event as we come together with our community for a Community Celebration and Closing Reception on Saturday, April 13 from 4:30pm-7:30pm at Harwood Art Center. This event will include Open Studios, food by Root 66 Food Truck, and our very own Wonder Fair! Harwood’s Wonder Fair at Encompass will feature live music by Casey Mráz, special guests the beloved Giant Puppets from OffCenter Arts, the debut of our latest Artist Made Series Design by Zahra Marwan, and the following free art-making activities and experiences for our community:

  • Live painted portraits by caricature artist, Shane Fox! Shane Fox is a non-binary artist born and raised in New Mexico who hopes to capture moments of euphoria and joy.
  • Tarot Readings by artist Celine Gordon from her self published and illustrated nature-themed tarot deck “The Burning Shadow.” Her approach to tarot is grounded and interactive – she focuses on using the deck to provide advice, healing, and guidance rather than fortune-telling.
