Aryon’ Hopkin’s work is rooted in community building. He is interested in creating third place —the social surroundings separate from the two usual social environments of home and the workplace. Aryon has adapted his work and created Share Our Sun, a virtual celebration during our shared season of Spring of our world’s last remaining third place, the sky above us. You can learn more about the project at and sign up to participate at www.shareoursun.org.
Daily from 12pm to 12:40pm
April 6 – 30, 2020
Every day, since the vernal equinox, a group of growing friends and family have made time for each other by making art together. To participate, you simply show up via Zoom ready to make suns together.
- After a half-hour of creation and fellowship, we share our story with each other through the joys, gratitudes, and challenges we record daily on the back of our sun.
- Finally, we share our suns to our community by posting them publicly in our windows and shared streets.
